Meet the Team

  • Ashley Liveoak-Executive Director

I’m Ashley Liveoak, I am the Executive Director of Care Net of Chilton County and Selah’s Oasis Maternity Home. I am married to my college sweetheart Kacey and have a daughter Oakleigh. I am a graduate of Pelham High School (2005) and the University of Montevallo (2011).

As a family we love visiting the springs in Florida—camping, kayaking, and exploring.

Throughout my life God has been ever present, faithful and good. Walking through trials and hardships has drawn me closer to the Lord and I have really come to know him and believe that his promises in his word are for me and for you! Before I came to Care Net, I had been laid off from my job and had no idea what I was going to do. The Lord placed me at Care Net almost immediately. I stand on God’s word that every life matters—no matter how that life was conceived it is precious and valuable in God’s eyes.

I am also the Executive Director of Choose Life Alabama (Choose Life Car Tags). Through this ministry Choose Life supports and provides education for pregnancy centers, adoption agencies and maternity homes in Alabama.

I consider myself honored to be a part of such an impactful ministry and I am humbled to get to serve families in Chilton County and Central Alabama.

My Favorite verse: With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:20

  • Leah Graham-Case Manager

I’m Leah Graham and am currently employed as the Case Manager at Selah’s Oasis maternity home in Chilton County.

I graduated June 3, 1989, with a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Sociology. Some of my varied experiences have included being employed as an Activity Director in a home for mentally handicapped adults, employment as an Activity Director in a nursing home, and more recently as a Social Service Caseworker for Chilton County Department of Human Resources. I’ve also had the distinct pleasure of almost a decade of volunteering for Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

I am a wife and mother of two adult children, the “Grammy” of the most adorable grandson (bias noted) and one grandchild on the way!

It has been a dream of mine for many years to work in a maternity home and I’m beyond excited to have this opportunity!

Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you-this is the Lord’s declaration – plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 8:28 “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to his purpose.”

I attend Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where I was saved and baptized, and my daughter was dedicated.

Favorite Bible Verse: John 8:12 “I am the light of the world, Jesus said. Whoever follows me will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness.”

  • Infinity Willis-Resident Assistant

I’m Infinity Willis and I am the Resident Assistant of Selah’s Oasis. I was born and raised in Opelika, AL. I am a church member of St. Luke AME of Opelika where Monique Summers is pastor. I currently have a sweet little 2 month old, Stormii Zahari, who is the sweetest little thing ever! She is well taken care of and well loved.

My daughter, Stormii, got her name from me being in a real bad storm but no matter what happened, I kept telling myself “it’s a storm that’s over me right now and it WILL passover” and that’s exactly what happened. It passed over and now at times I feel like it’s just a little rain cloud and the sun will shine soon.

As she grows up, she will know that her name is just not a name, it’s a special name and I want her to know that life is gonna be filled with rain clouds, thunderstorms and possibly tornados but as long as you got God, all of that will passover and you will see the rainbow. I was currently a resident at Selah’s until I was granted a very special position here. I’ve been at Selah’s since November of 2023. Before I came to Selah’s, I was in a position where I lost all faith in God. I blamed God for the situation I was in and asked him why hasn’t he done anything to help. I lost everything, I didn’t know what to do, where to go, who to rely on. I was literally to the point where I wanted to give up and say there’s not a God. He’s not real. As soon as I came to Selah’s, I felt like I found hope again. I had people that made sure I never gave up and made sure I kept my head held high. I’ve been achieving all my goals since I’ve been here. While being here, I’ve been relying on God and praying more and more everyday. Every mama that has walked foot in this house I’ve grown a bond with! I pray for all the mamas here and I hope they find peace again like I did. You didn’t come here just because, God led you here. Each and everyday I grow to be a better person, a better mama, and a person that keeps God first. My plan is to tell my testimony and how I overcame so much and to make sure that these mamas know that they’re not in this alone. You have help and not to mention you have God. Tell God about your problems and trust me he will answer them and if you wanna know how I know, I know because I AM a walking testimony. No matter how many times the devil knocked me to my feet, I get up and I try again and again and again. I thank him each and everyday faithfully.

My favorite verse: Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest until your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Meaning that if we come before him he will give our heart rest and ease our burdens.
