Our Vision.

The Vision of Selah’s Oasis is to see mothers choose life for their babies, raising them in the knowledge of God and living self-sufficiently, while walking in obedience to the Lord.

Where does Selah’s Oasis come from?

The word Selah originated from the Bible meaning to rest, pause, contemplate and to reset. It acts as a sign for us to pause and think about the emphasis God has on His promises. It is found throughout the book of Psalms. Oasis is a fertile spot in the desert where water can be found. Many women find themselves wandering in the desert and they need to rest or have a reset in their lives when they find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. Now, for the name together as one it will be called “Selah’s Oasis.” Selah’s will provide a safe residence for mothers who desire to prepare for independent living. Our Director Ashley Liveoak said “The name was God given. It will provide a place of refuge, hope and fertile ground to move towards Christ while they continue in their pregnancy.”
